Competition

The Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce invites you to take part in the sixth Prof. Jerzy Jakubowski Competition for the best master’s thesis concerning arbitration and mediation issues.

The aim of the competition is to propagate and disseminate knowledge about arbitration and mediation, and to popularise commercial law among students and knowledge about out-of-court methods of resolving disputes, as well as initiating research work.

The competition is an open one, and graduates of all Polish universities who submitted and defended their theses in 2011 – 2013 may participate in it. A thesis should be submitted by 31 January 2014 in written and electronic form together with a certificate from the university confirming the date when the thesis was defended along with the supervisors’ opinions.

The thesis must also include consent to have personal data processed and to use it to promote the competition and its prizewinners.

PLN 30,000 has been set aside for the competition prizes.
